Junior RPA Developer (Reputable Investment Bank)

A highly respected investment bank in Hong Kong is seeking a Junior RPA Developer to work on impactful automation projects across the Asia-Pacific region, leveraging UiPath to streamline business processes.

Key responsibilities:

As a Junior RPA Developer, you will play a key role in designing and implementing automation solutions that enhance operational efficiency.

• Translate operational processes into automation solutions, including development, implementation, and continuous improvement tasks
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and process experts to gather requirements and design fit-for-purpose automation solutions
• Develop and configure RPA workflows using UiPath, ensuring adherence to structured and maintainable workflow design principles
• Analyse, document, and validate business requirements; design solutions, perform QA testing, and support end-to-end delivery and maintenance
• Apply strong analytical and logical thinking to decompose complex processes into scalable, automated workflows
• Coordinate effectively with local and international Operations and IT teams, working independently while ensuring clear communication and alignment

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you’ll bring hands-on experience with UiPath and a strong foundation in IT development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is required
• Minimum 2 years of IT development experience, with strong focus on UiPath RPA development
• Hands-on experience in building and maintaining automation solutions using UiPath (mandatory)
• Familiarity with UiPath Platform 2023 components (Studio, Orchestrator, Apps, etc.)
• Knowledge of software development principles with exposure to APIs, Citrix, VB.NET, or C# considered an advantage
• UiPath certification is preferred but not required
• Strong communication skills in English (written and spoken), with good interpersonal and teamwork abilities
• Self-driven, fast learner, and able to perform effectively under pressure and tight deadlines
