IT Project Engineer (M365/Office Technology) - Contract

A leading organisation in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Project Engineer specialising in Microsoft 365 and Office Technology to shape the digital workplace, drive seamless technology integration, and support business growth.

Key responsibilities:

As an IT Project Engineer, you will manage complex digital workplace environments while collaborating with diverse teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions.

• Infrastructure Management: Manage and support Microsoft O365, messaging platforms, and VDI/AVD infrastructure end-to-end
• System Design & Migration: Lead directory services integration and oversee IT infrastructure setup and migration for new business entities
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, security teams, and developers to deliver integrated solutions that improve service operations
• Technical Evaluation: Evaluate new Microsoft O365 features and third-party tools to drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency
• Project Management & Execution: Deliver workplace technology and user infrastructure projects end-to-end, ensuring timely execution with minimal business disruption
• AIOps & Automation: Implement AI-driven automation to optimise infrastructure tasks, strengthen predictive monitoring, and improve incident response within the M365 environment

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience managing enterprise-scale IT infrastructures.

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• 3+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, workplace technology, or project engineering
• Proven experience delivering workplace IT projects; PMP or Prince2 certification is an advantage
• Strong expertise in Microsoft 365, Intune, Power Platform, Entra ID, Azure, VMware, and AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or Azure OpenAI
• Microsoft 365, Azure, or VMware certifications preferred, with a strong passion for emerging technologies and innovation
