Trading Platform Development Specialist (Contract)

This opportunity is with a leading financial sector client, focused on building next‑generation trading platforms.

Key responsibilities:

• Platform design & development: Design and implement new features and modules for trading systems, focusing on performance and reliability
• System monitoring: Track platform health and performance indicators to maintain operational stability
• Change management: Conduct impact analysis for system changes, prepare documentation, and coordinate with stakeholders
• Testing & validation: Develop test plans, execute test cycles, and verify readiness under tight schedules
• Stakeholder collaboration: Partner with IT teams, business, and end‑users to align technical solutions with trading needs
• Continuous improvement: Contribute to platform transformation initiatives, ensuring scalability and innovation

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines
• Minimum 3 years' large scale system development experience within the financial sector
• Client support /Client facing experience would be advantage
• Trading Platform knowledge
• Good analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage
