A leading financial services organisation in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Service Engineer (ServiceNow) to strengthen its ITSM capabilities and ensure smooth operational delivery.

About the Role

A leading financial services organisation in Hong Kong is seeking an IT Service Engineer (ServiceNow) to strengthen its ITSM capabilities and ensure smooth operational delivery.

This role focuses on ServiceNow administration, IT operations process management, and driving automation initiatives. The engineer will play a key part in supporting transformation projects, enhancing ITSM workflows, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaboration across application, infrastructure, and security teams will be central to delivering reliable, efficient, and well‑governed IT services.

Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure & BAU support: Provide technical support for infrastructure projects and ongoing operations.
  • ServiceNow management: Administer and support the IT Operations Management system, including handling requests for additions, moves, and changes, as well as providing BAU support.
  • Workflow customization: Design and optimize service request forms, workflows, reporting, and implement automation within the IT Service Management platform.
  • Change, Incident & Release Management: Manage ITSM processes across change, incident, and release management. Maintain the release calendar, coordinate activities with cross‑functional teams, and ensure smooth execution with clear communication and minimal business impact.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of IT operations experience within the financial or banking sector.
  • ITIL knowledge: Solid understanding of IT Operations and ITIL practices, including change, incident, and problem management.
  • Hands-on experience in developing or managing ServiceNow systems.
  • Experience with workflow systems or automation coding is preferred.
  • Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage
