Manager, Product (Equities)

A leading financial institution in Hong Kong is seeking a Product Manager - Equities to oversee the full product lifecycle and shape innovative equities products, drive profitability, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities:

As a Product Manager - Equities, you will lead the end-to-end management of equities products while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that meet client needs.

• Manage the full product lifecycle from strategic planning to execution, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive product initiatives
• Enhance profitability of existing products and support new product development through market research, business analysis, and marketing strategies
• Ensure alignment with current compliance requirements and contribute to workflow and process design improvements

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in banking or retail banking, particularly in product management or related roles.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Business, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of banking experience; product management experience is a plus
• Strong understanding of retail banking products, global financial markets, and banking regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with strategic thinking ability
• Proficient in written and spoken English, Chinese, and Putonghua
• Less experienced candidates may be considered for Assistant Product Management Manager role
