Regional IT Project Manager - Retail - short notice ~68K

Key Duties:
- Lead end-to-end IT transformation projects across the APAC region, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the US headquarters on project planning, resource allocation, and overall strategic direction to ensure global consistency and integration.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project plans, including scope, timelines, milestones, and deliverables, adapting as necessary to changing priorities.
- Coordinate with regional teams across APAC to facilitate regional planning, delivery schedules, and local compliance requirements.
- Work with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Partner with external vendors and IT service providers to manage project execution, vendor deliverables, and contractual obligations.
- Manage and lead cross-functional project teams, fostering collaboration across different cultures and time zones.
- Monitor project progress, quality, and budget adherence; proactively identify and mitigate risks.
- Ensure all projects adhere to quality standards, deadlines, and budget constraints.
- Effectively navigate the matrix organizational structure to align stakeholders and resources, driving project success.
- Facilitate clear and consistent stakeholder communication, including reporting to executive leadership and managing expectations across diverse regions.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in IT project management, preferably within a regional or global context.
- Proven track record managing large-scale IT transformation projects using Agile methodologies.
- Strong experience in project planning, resource management, and stakeholder engagement across multiple regions.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with international teams.
- Experience working in retail / customer centric industry
- Familiarity with regional APAC markets, cultural sensitivities, and local compliance requirements.
- Fluent in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
