IT Manager- Oracle EBS+ PLM; PERM role

As an IT Manager Oracle E Business Suite and Product Lifecycle Management specialist, you will be instrumental in driving transformation across the organisation’s digital landscape. Your day-to-day activities will involve close collaboration with diverse teams to assess current workflows, gather requirements from stakeholders at all levels, and translate these into robust technical solutions.

• Assess existing business processes within engineering and manufacturing operations to identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable solutions that drive efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, engineering, and production staff to implement process enhancements that align with organisational objectives.
• Gather detailed business and system requirements from stakeholders, ensuring all perspectives are considered for comprehensive solution design.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear technical specifications to facilitate effective implementation by technical teams.
• Ensure seamless integration of Teamcenter with other enterprise systems such as ERP (Oracle E-Business Suite) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), supporting end-to-end process automation.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, coordinating resources and timelines to ensure successful delivery that meets both business needs and technical standards.
• Develop best practices for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) data management while maintaining high standards of data integrity across all platforms.
• Utilise Power Platform tools including PowerApps and Sensei IQ modules to automate workflows, streamline reporting, and enhance user experience.
• Monitor project progress through regular communication with stakeholders, providing transparent updates on milestones, risks, and outcomes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analysing performance metrics using data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau.
• A bachelor’s degree in IT engineering, Computer Science or a related field provides the foundational knowledge required for this position.
• At least eight years’ experience working within manufacturing or production environments as a business analyst or project manager ensures you bring deep industry insight.
• Hands-on expertise with Power Platform tools—including PowerApps—and practical experience integrating Sensei IQ modules via APIs is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or Tableau enables you to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
• Fluency in English and Putonghua is essential for effective communication; additional language skills would be advantageous for engaging with diverse teams.
• Demonstrated project management experience along with familiarity using project management software supports efficient coordination of tasks and resources.
• A thorough understanding of enterprise-level technology infrastructure combined with knowledge of digital workplace architectures allows you to design scalable solutions.
• Experience developing best practices for PLM data management ensures high standards of accuracy and reliability are maintained throughout the product lifecycle.
• Excellent organisational skills paired with strong communication abilities enable you to document requirements clearly and report progress effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
• Recognised certifications in business analysis (such as CBAP or PMI-PBA) are preferred as they demonstrate commitment to professional excellence.
