Senior Data Scientist AI - Reputed Bank

A tier 1 Bank is currently investing in GenAI and Machine Learning. They are looking to expand due to new projects around AI.

Responsibilities:

• Take part in the planning, design, and execution of projects
• Conduct proof-of-concept studies to demonstrate the value of GenAI projects
• Drive research on the latest advancements in AI technologies and governance practices
• Prepare study reports and presentations tailored to diverse audiences

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• Solid understanding of machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing, and generative AI.
• Proficient in Python and familiar with mainstream machine learning modelling and generative AI application frameworks and tools.
• Banking, Financial Services or Fintech industry experience preferred

Location: Hong Kong – Permanent role

Interview: 3 rounds

Start date: August/September 2025

Salary budget: HKD 50 to 70k/month + bonus
