MLOps Engineer - Aviation

This role will focus on translating business requirements into practical data engineering solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design and develop new applications by leveraging existing datasets to create innovative products or enhance current services.
• Maintain and enhance existing applications by updating code or incorporating new features to align with evolving requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, data scientists, and IT professionals, to identify business needs and implement effective data engineering solutions.
• Utilize data visualization tools, particularly Qlik Sense, to present complex data insights, enabling clients to make informed decisions based on accurate and reliable data.
• Apply analytics tools such as Alteryx to extract meaningful insights from large datasets and provide actionable recommendations.
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security throughout its lifecycle, utilizing strong database concepts and data modeling expertise.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience in data engineering.
• Strong knowledge of database concepts and data modeling principles.
• Proficiency in Python and Spark for data processing and analysis.
• Experience with analytics and query tools such as Alteryx.
• Familiarity with statistical analysis tools.
• Extensive experience with data visualization tools, particularly Qlik Sense.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure, with proficiency in AWS SageMaker.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
• Fluency in Cantonese and English.
