SM / AD AI & Data Engagement Manager - Large Consulting Firm

A global consultancy seeks an (Senior Manager / Associate Director) AI & Data Engagement Manager to lead enterprise data transformation initiatives, align C-level vision with execution, and drive impactful AI and analytics outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

As a (SM / AD) AI & Data Engagement Manager, you will partner with C-suite leaders to deliver enterprise data transformation and drive adoption of analytics solutions.

• Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Influence: Partner with C-suite executives to shape data strategy, align investment priorities, translate initiatives into measurable business outcomes, and drive consensus on enterprise-wide data direction
• End-to-End Project Delivery: Lead the full lifecycle delivery of data platforms, analytics, governance, and AI/ML initiatives while ensuring on-time, on-budget execution, strong governance, and effective management of cross-program dependencies
• Data Strategy Execution: Translate data strategy into actionable roadmaps by collaborating with data architects, engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions aligned with enterprise architecture, regulatory, and governance standards
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with business units and cross-functional teams to identify data-driven opportunities, facilitate alignment workshops, and build strong relationships across IT, data, and business functions
• Change Management & Adoption: Drive organisational change to embed a data-driven culture by ensuring adoption of data platforms and analytics capabilities through tailored communication and stakeholder engagement strategies

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong project delivery expertise, experience in complex transformation programmes, and the ability to align senior stakeholders and bridge business and technical teams.

• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in IT, Data Science, Business, or related field with 15+ years’ experience in project/program management focused on data or analytics initiatives
• Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional transformation projects in large-scale organisations
• Strong experience engaging and influencing C-level stakeholders with excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Solid understanding of data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, cloud analytics) and enterprise data ecosystems
• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies and structured project execution
• Background in financial services, digital banking, or highly regulated environments preferred, with exposure to AI/ML or advanced analytics a plus
• Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, leadership, and ability to solve problems and make decisions in ambiguous environments
