Account Manager - Snacks (SEA)

As an Account Manager, your primary responsibility will be to bring a more in-depth and data-driven focus to a dedicated set of existing commercial partners and distributors in the South East Asia region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support to existing commercial partners.
  • Responsible for the concrete day-by-day roll out of the approved country strategy.
  • Follow up orders, order planning of partners, S&OP input from partners, payments, etc.
  • Bring commercial partners to a strategic next level.
  • Gather and analyze data and market insights to monitor performance of the commercial partner.
  • Define the right range architecture and price/volume mix per channel in a dedicated country.
  • Draft a joint business plan and define a set of KPIs and levers for growth.
  • Prepare and participate in data-driven business reviews per country and on area level.

Requirements:

  • Master degree in economics, sales, marketing or related field from a reputable university.
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar role in an FMCG company.
  • Strong analytical skills & detail-oriented.
  • Experience in dealing with Nielsen, IRI, Kantar is considered a strong plus.
  • Strong inter-cultural intelligence with empathy for other cultures, religions, values, lifestyles.
  • Ownership mindset with result driven approach.
  • Flexible working style with ability to work independently.
  • Knowledge of SAP is an asset, knowledge of MS Office a necessity.
  • Experience in / knowledge of e-commerce and digital media is considered a plus.
  • Fluency in English. Knowledge of any other regional languages (e.g. Cantonese, Mandarin, Thai) is considered a strong plus.
  • Occasion travel to Asia and Europe
