Business Transformation Manager - Logistics/ Freight Forwarding

A global logistics provider seeks a Business Transformation Manager to lead international freight forwarding projects, drive process improvement and supply chain automation, and collaborate across global teams.

Key responsibilities:

As a Business Transformation Manager, you will lead global freight projects, improve operational processes, and deliver customer-focused solutions across teams.

  • Own global freight forwarding customer implementation projects (air, sea, road, rail)
  • Design end-to-end operational and system solutions with cross-functional teams (Ops, IT, Legal)
  • Translate customer requirements into SOPs to ensure zero-defect implementation
  • Coordinate IT/eSolutions development, testing (SIT/UAT), deployment, and post-go-live support
  • Manage project timelines, risks, change requests, and resource tracking
  • Communicate progress updates and engage key stakeholders and customers regularly
  • Drive process standardisation, KPI tracking, training, and continuous service improvement initiatives

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring freight forwarding experience, strong project and stakeholder management skills, and a focus on process improvement and digital solutions.

  • Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in freight forwarding operations, key account or project management
  • Strong knowledge of sea, air and road freight operations and supply chain processes
  • Experience in system implementation and AI tools in logistics is an advantage
  • Strong analytical, structured thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to work across cultures and align commercial and operational priorities
  • Proficient in English, Mandarin, Cantonese, MS Office; CargoWise/SAP/TRAX and travel readiness are a plus
