Key responsibilities:
As the Human Resources Manager, you will be entrusted with overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organisation.
- Lead a small team of HR professionals by providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure effective delivery of all human resources functions
- Develop comprehensive talent sourcing strategies that attract diverse candidates and manage the entire staffing process from recruiting through onboarding
- Conduct pay surveys and benchmarking analysis on total rewards packages to maintain competitive and cost-effective compensation strategies for the organisation
- Oversee payroll administration, benefits management, and tax reporting processes with meticulous attention to accuracy and compliance
- Prepare regular HR-related analyses and reports such as manpower planning, staff costing, turnover rates, and other key metrics for management review
- Design, review, and implement HR policies and guidelines that align with regulatory requirements while promoting an inclusive workplace culture
- Provide expert advice on employment legislation including Hong Kong Employment Ordinance to ensure the company remains compliant at all times
- Support HR staff in their daily responsibilities by offering guidance on complex issues and fostering a collaborative team environment
- Participate actively in ad hoc projects or assigned tasks that contribute to organisational goals or improve HR operations
- Champion employee engagement initiatives that nurture trust, loyalty, and kinship among staff members
Candidate profile:
The ideal candidate for the Human Resources Manager role brings proven experience from large-scale organisations operating within fast-moving sectors such as Technology or Telecom.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related disciplines is required for this position
- At least five years’ experience in a managerial capacity gained from sizable companies within dynamic industries such as Technology or Telecom is essential
- Thorough understanding of Hong Kong Employment Ordinance and related legislation is necessary for ensuring compliance across all HR activities
- Excellent interpersonal skills combined with strong communication abilities enable you to connect effectively with employees at all levels
- Proven problem-solving skills allow you to address complex HR issues with empathy and consideration for all parties involved
- Meticulous attention to detail ensures accuracy in payroll processing, benefits administration, reporting tasks, and policy implementation
- Demonstrated sense of responsibility means you consistently deliver reliable results while supporting your team members
- Fluency in written and spoken English as well as Chinese is vital for communicating clearly within a multicultural workplace
