Junior Partner - IR (Private Markets)

A multi-strategy investment firm in Hong Kong seeks a Junior Partner in Investor Relations to drive fundraising and manage global private markets investor relationships.

Key responsibilities:

As a Junior Partner in Investor Relations, you will drive fundraising, manage global investor relationships, and support strategic insights across alternative investments.

• Lead fundraising initiatives across venture and growth equity, real estate, and special situations
• Build and manage relationships with family offices, HNWIs, and key institutional stakeholders
• Identify and engage investors across key markets, primarily Singapore and the U.S., with coverage in Hong Kong, Korea, and Japan
• Represent the firm at investor meetings, conferences, and industry events to promote investment strategies
• Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored pitch materials and fundraising documentation
• Report fundraising progress, market insights, and investor feedback to senior leadership
• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements across relevant jurisdictions

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring fundraising experience, strong alternative asset expertise, proven investor relationship skills, and the ability to translate insights into strategy while ensuring compliance.

• 12+ years’ experience in fundraising or investor relations within financial services or investment management
• Strong investor network in Singapore and the U.S., with additional coverage in Hong Kong, Korea, or Japan preferred
• Deep expertise in alternative investments, including venture capital, growth equity, real estate, and special situations
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders
• Strategic, results-driven approach to delivering fundraising objectives
• Proven ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
• Solid understanding of global fundraising regulations and compliance requirements
