A leading organisation seeks an AVP Senior Systems Development Manager specialising in Generative AI to lead transformative AI initiatives, deliver innovative digital infrastructure solutions, and collaborate across teams.

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Systems Development Manager, you will drive the successful deployment of advanced AI solutions across corporate web services.

• Generative AI Delivery & Implementation: Lead end-to-end delivery of Generative AI solutions (NLP, computer vision), including use case definition, implementation planning, and execution with cross-functional teams
• AI Technical Leadership & Optimisation: Provide expert guidance in model selection, fine-tuning, prompt engineering, and optimisation, ensuring scalable, high-performance Generative AI solutions aligned with industry best practices
• Project Management: Own full project lifecycle including planning, resource allocation, timelines, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder reporting to ensure on-time delivery
• Stakeholder & Cross-Team Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, vendors, infrastructure, and security teams to define solutions, integrate systems, and maintain strong governance and communication
• Quality, Documentation & Continuous Improvement: Lead testing and QA, produce technical documentation and training materials, and drive process improvement, automation, and best-practice frameworks across AI implementations

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in IT application implementation combined with specialised expertise in generative AI models.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline is required
• 8–15 years of progressive experience in IT application implementation with demonstrable expertise in generative artificial intelligence models
• Proficiency in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch; experience leading end-to-end generative AI solution deployments
• Expertise in prompt engineering techniques and fine-tuning language models for specific business applications
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., Alibaba Cloud, Google Cloud) and containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
