Investment Operations - Asset Managment

This is an investment operations reporting role. Our client is a large insurance firm and is looking to add a new headcount in their investment operations team.

Job responsibilities:

Settlement and Trade Support:

• Support multi asset investment team in settlement and trade operations

Data Reporting and Maintenance:

• Update and maintain records and documentation relating to investment activities.
• Ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies as needed.
• Compile and analyze data to prepare regular and ad-hoc reports related to analytics of investment activities including positions, transactions, risk and performance.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of report submissions to management.
  

Account Opening:

• Assist in account opening process with external counterparties including responding to KYC requests.
• Verify documentation and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  

Audit Matters:

• Support internal and external audit processes by providing necessary documentation.
• Assist in preparation of audit schedules and respond to audit inquiries.
  

Ad Hoc Tasks:

• Assist with various ad-hoc tasks and projects as assigned by internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate internally to improve and ensure efficiency of workflow.

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related disciplines.
• 3-5 years of experience in data/investment reporting in Investment Management or Middle Office Functions in Corporate & Investment Banking.
• Experience in Account Opening and KYC will be a great addition
• Demonstrate expertise with data analysis and strong technical acumen, specifically in Microsoft Excel; preferably with VBA knowledge.
• Familiar with Bloomberg terminal"s PORT and AIM functions.
