Equity Execution Dealer

We are seeking a proactive Equity Execution Dealer to support our global financial institution in trading Australian and Asian equities. This role will focus on assisting Asia-based financial institution clients with their trading activities, ensuring seamless communication and order execution across regions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute trades for Australian and Asian equities on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Confirm order details with clients during Asia office hours, providing exceptional customer service.
• Communicate effectively with the Australian branch to execute client orders in a timely manner.
• Assist the prime desk by quoting and offering equity locates for swap clients.
• Collaborate with IT and trade support teams to address and resolve ad hoc trading and technical issues.
• Utilize Fidessa for all trading functions and Bloomberg for communication with relevant trading desks, outside brokers, and clients.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights to optimize trading strategies and enhance client service.

Qualifications:

• Above 5 years of experience in equity trading or execution, preferably with exposure to Asian and Australian markets.
• Strong understanding of equity markets, trading platforms, and the use of Fidessa and Bloomberg.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Fluent in English
