Project Director/Senior Project Manager-Foundation project

A leading organisation in Hong Kong seeks a Project Director / Senior Project Manager for foundation projects, overseeing planning, site progress, safety, and stakeholder coordination across landmark infrastructure developments.

Key responsibilities:

• Define quality objectives of the project and initiate project planning
• Monitor site progress, identify delays, technical issues, and geological irregularities, and initiate timely corrective actions
• Coordinate site teams to address technical, scheduling, and resource challenges, and liaise with Project Managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve issues
• Maintain effective communication with consultants, contractors, utility providers, and relevant government authorities
• Review and endorse the appointment and performance of site supervisory staff under the contract
• Oversee project handover, defect rectification works, and follow‑up on complaints
• Ensure full compliance with site safety, health, and environmental requirements

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil or Building Engineering or construction-related disciplines with professional qualifications such as MHKIE, MCIOB, MHKICM or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years’ construction management experience, including at least 5 years’ managerial experience in geotechnical, G.I. and foundation works
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, AutoCad and Microsoft Projects
• Fluent in written and spoken English and Cantonese
