The Head of Architecture (Design) provides strategic leadership and governance over architectural and interior design across portfolio in Hong Kong and Mainland China. This role is accountable for upholding design excellence, innovation, and premium quality standards, while shaping and implementing group-wide design guidelines and best practices. The Director partners closely with consultants and internal stakeholders to deliver world-class design outcomes aligned with the company’s vision and brand positioning.

Key responsibilities:

As Head of Architecture Design, you will oversee the creative direction and execution of architectural and interior design strategies for landmark developments. Your expertise will ensure every project reflects the company’s vision for design excellence, functionality, and innovation.

• Lead and oversee architectural and interior design for major projects, ensuring creativity, functionality, and quality
• Define, implement, and govern design strategies, guidelines, and standards across the portfolio
• Review and approve consultant submissions, ensuring alignment with corporate vision and design integrity
• Manage and mentor the in-house design team, fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Oversee design execution, champion innovation, value engineering, and monitor trends to strengthen brand and project impact

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you will bring a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills honed through years of experience managing complex projects.

• Degree in Architecture and Registered Architect status (Hong Kong preferred) with 15+ years’ relevant experience, ideally on the developer side
• Proven track record in high-end residential and large-scale mixed-use projects across Hong Kong and Mainland China
• Strong strategic mindset with ability to influence design direction at senior and executive levels
• In-depth knowledge of architectural, MEP, and interior design trends, materials, detailing, construction methodologies, and regulatory requirements
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Photoshop, MS Office; 3ds Max, SketchUp, BIM advantageous)
