An esteemed international NGO seeks a Finance Manager to strengthen regional financial governance across multi-country operations, safeguard donor-funded compliance and internal controls, and enhance transparent, impactful financial stewardship across global programs.

Key responsibilities:

As Finance Manager, you will oversee regional financial operations, ensuring accurate reporting, strong controls, and compliance while supporting audits and partnering with teams across the organisation.

• Oversee regional financial reporting, including consolidation, review, and timely submission to HQ and donors
• Ensure accuracy, completeness, and integrity of financial data across country offices
• Design, implement, and maintain robust internal controls, policies, and financial procedures
• Lead balance sheet reviews, reconciliations, and month-end and year-end close processes
• Ensure compliance with donor requirements, grant conditions, and statutory obligations
• Support internal and external audits, including preparation, coordination, and issue resolution
• Monitor financial risks and implement effective mitigation strategies
• Provide guidance and oversight to country finance teams, strengthening controllership capability

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong finance experience in international NGOs or multi-country environments, with solid accounting qualifications and expertise in donor reporting, compliance, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or equivalent) preferred
• Approximately 8 years of relevant experience, ideally within NGOs, non-profits, or international organisations
• Experience in donor-funded environments and grant management strongly preferred
• Exposure to regional or multi-country finance operations
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial insights for non-finance stakeholders
