Accounting Officer (AP) | MNC | 27k

A multinational corporation seeks an Accounting Officer (Accounts Payable) to manage the full AP cycle, ensure accurate financial operations, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

As an Accounting Officer, you will manage AP operations including invoice processing, reconciliations, vendor maintenance, reporting, and month-end closing while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit support.

• Manage end-to-end AP cycle: receive, verify, code, and process supplier invoices for approval and payment
• Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations, matching payments to statements and resolving discrepancies
• Liaise with vendors, internal stakeholders, and banks to handle queries, credit terms, and payment issues
• Maintain accurate vendor records, prepare AP aging reports, and support month-end closing activities
• Ensure compliance with company policies, HK tax regulations, and internal controls; assist with audits as needed
• Handle ad-hoc tasks, such as expense tracking or process improvements, in this standalone role

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring AP experience in multinational environments, strong Excel and ERP (SAP/Oracle) skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and communicate effectively.

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
• 2 years' AP experience in an MNC or sizable firm, with strong bank reconciliation skills
• Proficient in MS Excel, ERP systems (e.g., SAP/Oracle), and accounting software; Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) a plus
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently with good communication skills
• Immediate availability preferred
