A prestigious Hong Kong family office seeks a Senior Accountant to support finance operations, maintain accurate financial records, preparing management reports, and supporting special projects.

Key responsibilities:

As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial operations while contributing to strategic decision-making processes. Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing the full set of accounts with accuracy and efficiency
• Preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closing schedules to ensure timely financial reporting
• Assisting in the preparation of management reports, financial statements, and cash flow updates
• Monitoring bank balances, payments, and funding requirements to maintain optimal financial health
• Supporting budgeting activities, forecasting exercises, and ad hoc financial analysis as required
• Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, banks, and other service providers
• Maintain proper filing, documentation, and finance controls
• Support special projects and ad hoc assignments from management

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in accounting within family offices or similar environments. Key qualifications include:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
• 4–8 years of relevant accounting experience from family offices, investment holdings, private equity firms or similar environments
• Proficiency in handling full set accounts and month-end closing procedures
• Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software systems
• Strong command of English and Chinese for effective communication with internal teams and external service providers
