A well-established hospitality group with a diverse portfolio of hotels and service properties across Hong Kong seeks a motivated and detail-oriented Accountants to join their finance team and to support their expanding business.

Key Responsibilities:

As an Accountant, you will play a key role in managing financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Your contributions will help maintain the organisation’s high standards of financial integrity.

• Handle daily accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Prepare month-end closing, journal postings, and financial reports in a timely and accurate manner
• Assist in maintaining fixed asset registers, account reconciliation, and variance analysis
• Support annual audit and tax filing processes
• Collaborate with internal departments including Operations and Procurement to ensure proper financial controls and compliance
• Participate in process improvement and system enhancement initiatives

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings proven experience in accounting roles within the hospitality sector, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hospitality or hotel industry
• Knowledge of the OPERA accounting system or similar hotel financial systems is a strong advantage
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
• Good command of English and Chinese, both written and spoken
• Strong attention to detail, proactive attitude, and ability to meet tight deadlines
