Director, Finance Transformation | 110k
Finance Transformation Director role partnering with the CFO to lead enterprise-wide finance transformation, driving process improvement, automation, governance, and end-to-end operating model change.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead the finance transformation roadmap in partnership with the CFO and senior leadership team
- Assess current finance processes, systems, controls, and reporting workflows to identify improvement opportunities
- Drive end-to-end process redesign across core finance functions, including record-to-report, procure-to-pay, order-to-cash, and planning and analysis
- Deliver automation and standardisation initiatives to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability
- Partner with business and technology teams on finance system enhancements, implementation projects, and data/process integration
- Strengthen governance, internal controls, and operating discipline across finance activities
- Manage project timelines, stakeholder engagement, change management, and implementation tracking
- Provide hands-on support in solving operational issues and ensuring successful adoption of new processes
- Prepare executive-level updates, progress reports, and transformation dashboards for the CFO
- Coach and influence finance team members and stakeholders to embed new ways of working
Candidate profile:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline; professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent preferred
- 12+ years of relevant finance experience, with strong exposure to finance transformation, process improvement, controllership, or finance operations
- Proven track record of delivering finance transformation projects in a complex, multinational, or fast-growing environment
- Strong hands-on mindset, with the ability to operate both strategically and operationally
- Solid understanding of finance processes, internal controls, reporting cycles, and systems implementation
- Experience working closely with CFOs, finance leadership teams, and cross-functional stakeholders
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder influence skills
- Highly organised, pragmatic, and execution-focused, with the ability to drive change through to completion
