(Senior) Manager - Finance Transformation

This role sits at the centre of change delivery, acting as a key liaison across Finance SMEs, internal IT teams, and external vendors, while translating complex initiatives into clear, senior‑level narratives.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in shaping and communicating the finance transformation roadmap, supporting decision-making through high-quality presentations, and ensuring cross-functional alignment throughout delivery.

Key responsibilities:

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Act as a key interface between Finance SMEs, internal IT teams, project teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on transformation initiatives
  • Facilitate workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, and regular touchpoints with business and technical stakeholders
  • Translate business needs into clear, structured inputs for IT and vendors, ensuring shared understanding of scope, dependencies, and priorities

Finance Transformation & Change Enablement

  • Support the design, planning, and execution of finance transformation initiatives, including process optimisation, system enhancements, and operating model changes
  • Work closely with process owners to assess current-state processes, identify improvement opportunities, and support solution definition
  • Coordinate UAT preparation, testing cycles, and deployment activities in collaboration with Finance, IT, and vendors

Senior Management Presentation & Storytelling

  • Develop high-quality PowerPoint decks for senior management and steering committees, clearly articulating:
    1. Transformation roadmap and milestones
    2. Progress updates, risks, and dependencies
    3. Business impact, benefits realisation, and change readiness
  • Convert complex financial, operational, and system information into concise, executive-level materials to support decision-making
  • Support preparation of materials for governance forums and leadership reviews

Project & Vendor Coordination

  • Support project planning activities including timelines, deliverables, dependencies, and status tracking
  • Work with external vendors and system integrators to monitor progress, resolve issues, and ensure alignment with business expectations
  • Assist in managing post-go-live stabilisation and continuous improvement initiatives

Governance, Controls & Continuous Improvement

  • Support rollout of finance policies, procedures, and governance controls aligned with transformation outcomes
  • Track KPIs and transformation metrics, providing regular insights and recommendations to stakeholders
  • Promote best practices in finance processes, systems usage, and change adoption

Candidate profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Information Systems, or related discipline; professional accounting qualification is an advantage
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience within finance transformation, finance change, consulting, or large-scale finance projects
  • Strong experience working with multiple stakeholders across Finance SMEs, IT teams, and external vendors
  • Proven ability to create clear, polished PowerPoint presentations for senior management and governance forums
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics for non-technical audiences
  • Exposure to ERP or finance systems (e.g. Oracle Fusion / EPM or similar) is highly preferred
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in MS PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of Power BI, Power Apps, or automation tools is a plus
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
