A leading financial institution in Hong Kong seeks a Procurement Operation Manager on a 12-month contract. This role offers the chance to enhance procurement processes, ensure compliance with policies, and contribute to operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities:

As a Procurement Operations Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence within the procurement function while ensuring compliance with organisational policies.

  • Support end-to-end Source-to-Payment operations, ensuring compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and controls
  • Partner with the Senior Procurement Operations Manager on administrative support, operational coordination, and procurement governance
  • Serve as key liaison for internal stakeholders on procurement operations, risk management, and control-related matters
  • Prepare and maintain KPI reports, procurement records, documentation, and operational reporting with accuracy and timeliness
  • Oversee procurement control activities, support governance initiatives, and perform additional duties as assigned

Candidate profile:

The ideal candidate brings technical expertise in procurement operations alongside strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments.

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with relevant professional experience
  • Proven supervisory experience in procurement operations within complex environments
  • Familiarity with finance control functions such as accounts payable and risk management, with experience in banking industry is preferable
  • Advanced proficiency in Oracle Fusion, Coupa, MS Excel, and PowerPoint for data management and reporting
  • Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese; immediate availability is highly desirable
