Assistant Manager, M&A | property developer

One of the fast growing property developers is looking for Assistant Manager, Corporate Development to join their high performing team.

About the Role

We are hiring an Assistant Manager, Corporate Development on behalf of a leading property developer. This role plays a pivotal part in driving strategic growth through asset enhancement, investment evaluation, and cross-departmental collaboration. You will contribute to critical M&A activities of the company.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and investment opportunities.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align corporate strategies with business goals.
• Support the development of property portfolio strategies and identify potential strategic partners.
• Evaluate real estate investment projects, including feasibility studies and risk assessments.
• Assist in due diligence, negotiations, and transaction execution.
• Support project management across the real estate development lifecycle.
• Facilitate the disposal of non-core assets and optimize timing and pricing strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field; CFA or equivalent is a plus.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in investment, strategy, or corporate development.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and valuation.
• Solid understanding of real estate investment and development processes.
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools.
• Self-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of working under pressure.
