Java Senior System Analyst (Pension System exp. required)

A leading financial services organization is seeking a Java Senior System Analyst to support the ongoing delivery and modernization of its pension technology platforms.

This role focuses on the design, development, and implementation of end-to-end system solutions within pension systems. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology teams to deliver scalable, high-quality applications while ensuring system stability and performance.

The position requires a strong balance of hands-on development experience and system analysis capability, with solid knowledge of pension domain processes and integration frameworks.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as a key contributor in the design and delivery of pension system solutions, partnering with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical designs across applications, integrations, and data flows.
• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications using Java/J2EE, Spring, and RESTful APIs, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Support end-to-end delivery lifecycle, including system analysis, development, testing, and deployment, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including offshore resources and vendors, to ensure smooth implementation and quality delivery.
• Contribute to system integration initiatives, including API development and enhancement, enabling seamless connectivity across platforms.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and modernization, including cloud adoption and digital enhancements.
• Ensure system stability through proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolution of production issues.
• Maintain proper system documentation, including functional specifications and technical designs, throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and best practices across all implementations.

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 6–10 years of experience in system development and analysis, with strong hands-on expertise in Java technologies.
• Solid experience in pension/ eMPF systems is essential, with a strong understanding of domain processes and system flows.
• Strong technical background in Java, Spring framework, and RESTful API development, with knowledge of system integration patterns.
• Experience in delivering large-scale or business-critical applications, preferably in financial services environments.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and digital technologies is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage complex system requirements.
• Good stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and IT teams.
