Application Manager- HRIS/SuccessFactors, Cantonese speaking

As an Application Manager based in Hong Kong with occasional travel to Mainland China and overseas offices when required, you will be instrumental in driving the success of large-scale ERP HRIS/SuccessFactors implementations.

  • Oversee the development, enhancement, support, and maintenance of ERP systems including SuccessFactors and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, ensuring optimal performance for business operations.
  • Collaborate with key business users from Finance & Procurement as well as other departments to document current processes, analyse business rules, and design future state workflows that align with organisational goals.
  • Facilitate comprehensive requirements gathering by working closely with internal IT resources, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure all needs are fully understood, documented, analysed, and validated.
  • Support stakeholders throughout the implementation phase by mediating issues or conflicts, achieving consensus on changes in system scope or requirements, and managing approval processes for change requests.
  • Participate actively in enterprise integration projects to guarantee seamless connectivity between new ERP solutions and existing IT applications within the organisation.
  • Coordinate the development and review of functional specifications and technical documentation to ensure all requirements are addressed before final sign-off by relevant parties.
  • Track traceability of all requirements across deliverables such as functional specs, technical specs, test scripts, training materials, UAT documents, and go-live approvals throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Plan and execute various testing activities including System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data migration tests, performance tests, ensuring high-quality outcomes for each phase.
  • Provide hands-on coordination for requirements collection, user acceptance testing (UAT), application rollout activities, daily operations support, system maintenance tasks, and ongoing enhancements.
  • Assist users in leveraging IT solutions effectively to achieve their business strategies and objectives while maintaining strong communication channels across all levels.
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related discipline is required for this position.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of best practices in business analysis as well as application and system integration methodologies is essential for success.
  • A minimum of five years’ experience leading ERP implementation projects—ideally involving rollouts across multiple geographic locations—is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to introduce new ways of working while influencing behaviours positively to achieve sustainable change adoption among diverse end users is important.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills are needed to liaise effectively with internal teams as well as external partners at all organisational levels.
  • A proactive approach combined with a commitment to driving positive change within project environments is expected from candidates applying for this role.
  • Hands-on experience with SuccessFactors and Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O will be considered a significant advantage for applicants seeking this opportunity.
  • Solid technical expertise in X++ programming language along with MS SQL database management skills is preferred for this position.
  • Familiarity with Finance & Procurement modules within ERP systems would be highly beneficial for candidates looking to excel in this role.
  • Excellent analytical abilities coupled with strong problem-solving skills are necessary; fluency in English and Cantonese is required while proficiency in Mandarin would be an added advantage.
  • Project management qualifications such as PMP or Agile PM certification are preferred but not mandatory.
