Project Manager (Digital / IT Projects) - Financial Services
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Project manager to join a leading financial organisation to driving project efficiency, ensuring strategic alignment, and fostering a culture of excellence across diverse teams. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the standards and best practices that underpin successful project delivery, while also leveraging your expertise in content creation, UI/UX design, and stakeholder engagement.
What you'll do:
- Oversee the development and maintenance of PMO contents such as guidelines, templates, web portals, and training materials to ensure consistency and clarity across all projects.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal resource utilisation and foster a culture of shared responsibility for project success.
- Monitor ongoing projects to guarantee adherence to established governance structures while identifying areas for process enhancement or risk mitigation.
- Facilitate clear communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders by translating complex concepts into accessible formats.
- Support strategic decision-making by providing insights on project performance metrics and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Contribute actively to the achievement of organisational goals by ensuring that all projects deliver measurable benefits within agreed timelines.
What you bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Design, Business Administration, Project Management or related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred for those seeking further advancement.
- Professional certification such as PMP (Project Management Professional), PRINCE2, AGILEPM or equivalent is highly desirable; additional certifications like ITIL, COBIT or LEAN would be advantageous.
- 3+ years proven experience managing projects using various methodologies including Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches within complex organisational settings.
- Demonstrated proficiency in content creation—particularly graphic design for PowerPoint presentations—as well as UI/UX design for web portals or digital platforms.
- A track record of supporting continuous improvement initiatives by researching new trends in project management methodology and applying relevant learnings promptly.
