Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Contract)

An esteemed organisation in Hong Kong is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer on a contract basis to support and enhance its enterprise IT infrastructure.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with modern Microsoft technologies, cloud services, and enterprise environments while contributing to mission-critical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain IT infrastructure and application platforms to ensure optimal availability, reliability, and performance
• Design and implement scalable infrastructure solutions in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external service providers
• Administer enterprise environments, including Windows Servers, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, network security systems, and end-user devices
• Monitor system performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues to maximise uptime and operational efficiency
• Strengthen IT security through access controls, patch management, backup procedures, and disaster recovery planning
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and user guides
• Deliver technical support through troubleshooting, helpdesk assistance, and user training to ensure effective system adoption and performance

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
• Strong expertise in enterprise infrastructure technologies, including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Azure cloud services, virtualisation platforms, and collaboration tools such as Teams and SharePoint
• At least five years of infrastructure engineering experience covering server administration, network infrastructure, and security system implementation
