IT Infrastructure Engineer (Cloud Platform)

A leading organisation in Hong Kong is looking for an IT Infrastructure Engineer – Cloud Platform on a 12-month renewable contract to support and enhance hybrid infrastructure environments across on-premise and public cloud platforms.

This opportunity offers exposure to Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud while working on large-scale infrastructure projects, DevOps initiatives, and cloud optimisation strategies. The role is ideal for professionals passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure engineering, and cross-functional technical collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

You will support the delivery, optimisation, and ongoing management of hybrid cloud infrastructure solutions across enterprise environments.

• Hybrid infrastructure Managment: Plan, design, and implement IT systems across on‑premise and public cloud platforms
• Cloud platform operations: Manage daily support and maintenance of cloud infrastructure to ensure application SLAs
• Project delivery: Implement and manage infrastructure (related to cloud platform) solutions
• Performance and Cost optimisation: Support enhancement works and conduct performance and cost reviews
• Technical collaboration: Liaise with users, internal stakeholders and vendors to deliver technical solutions
• End user adoption: Provide training and guidance to end users

Candidate profile:

You are a technically skilled infrastructure engineer with strong experience in cloud platforms, hybrid environments, and DevOps technologies, combined with excellent stakeholder management and problem-solving abilities.

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of cloud platform experience
• Hands on experience in Public Cloud Platform (Azure/AWS/Alibaba Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of DevOps
• Experience with microservices architecture (AKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills
• Fluent in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage
