VP - Network Architect (110k-120k+ bonus)

A Hong Kong organisation seeks an experienced Vice President, Network Architect to design and evolve secure, scalable enterprise network infrastructure while driving strategic innovation and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities:

As a VP, Network Architect, you will lead enterprise network design and delivery, ensuring secure, scalable infrastructure through collaboration, resource management, and continuous improvement.

• Drive end-to-end delivery of high-impact network initiatives aligned with business objectives
• Define and evolve enterprise network architecture with focus on scalability, security, and automation
• Allocate resources and manage budgets across multiple concurrent strategic projects
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity controls, and architectural standards
• Oversee procurement activities including requirements gathering, tendering, evaluation, and contracts
• Manage stakeholder and vendor relationships, ensuring clear communication with senior leadership
• Continuously improve network documentation, standards, risk management, and operational best practices

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong enterprise network architecture expertise and proven ability to deliver secure, scalable, cost-effective solutions.

• University degree in IT or related discipline
• 15+ years’ experience in IT network projects, including 5+ years in a leadership role
• Certifications such as CCIE, CISSP, or CISA highly preferred
• Proven expertise in network architecture and strategic, mission-critical project delivery (design, testing, upgrades, migrations, automation)
• Strong knowledge of ACI, VxLAN, SDWAN, cloud networking, and network security solutions
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
• Experience with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, SolarWinds, JIRA, and Confluence; strong leadership, collaboration, and self-driven execution mindset
