IT Officer, End Use Support (Contract) - Financial Services

An organisation in Hong Kong seeks an IT Officer (End User Support), to provide IT support, troubleshoot systems, and maintain reliable infrastructure for corporate users.

Key responsibilities:

As an IT Officer, you will provide IT support, manage user accounts, monitor systems, assist deployments, and ensure compliance and documentation.

  • End user support: Provide deskside and remote support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals
  • Incident resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, escalating to Level 2/3 teams where needed
  • System administration: Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and user access in line with compliance standards
  • Infrastructure monitoring: Monitor network, VPN, and server health; coordinate vendor escalation when required
  • Deployment projects: Support hardware/software rollouts, upgrades, and migrations (e.g., Windows OS, Outlook, banking apps)
  • Compliance & documentation: Maintain incident logs, asset records, and change documentation for audit and control purposes

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring IT support experience, strong Microsoft 365 and Active Directory skills, hardware/software troubleshooting ability, and strong communication in Cantonese and English.

  • 3–5 years’ IT support experience, ideally in financial services or other regulated environments
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and end-user support tools
  • Experience supporting banking applications and enterprise IT infrastructure
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software, and network issues
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to perform under pressure
  • Proficient in Cantonese and English; Mandarin is an advantage
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., MCP, CCNA, ITIL) are a plus
