IT Contract & Vendor Management Officer (6-Month Contract)

A leading financial institution seeks an IT Contract & Vendor Management Officer in Hong Kong to optimise IT contracts, vendor performance, and procurement governance.

You will partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to deliver cost-effective, compliant, and high-quality IT services.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage IT contracts, software licences, maintenance agreements, and vendor records, ensuring accurate documentation and strong governance
• Coordinate contract renewals, amendments, and vendor engagements while partnering with Procurement, Finance, Legal, and IT teams to support seamless operations
• Monitor vendor performance against SLAs and KPIs, providing insights that improve service quality and vendor accountability
• Support vendor governance through onboarding, performance reviews, compliance monitoring, and proactive issue resolution
• Deliver IT procurement activities, including RFQs, RFPs, tender evaluations, and quotation analysis, enabling efficient and compliant purchasing decisions
• Prepare management reports and support audits by tracking contract status, vendor performance, spending, and compliance risks

Candidate profile:

• Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
• Demonstrate 5+ years’ experience in IT vendor management, contract administration, IT procurement, or related commercial operations
• Bring expertise in IT contracts, software licensing, contract lifecycle management, procurement, and vendor governance
• Have experience working within financial services, insurance, or other highly regulated corporate environments
• Apply strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills to manage multiple priorities and vendor relationships
• Communicate effectively in both Cantonese and English, with the ability to collaborate across vendors and cross-functional teams
• Immediate or short-notice availability is advantageous
