A globally recognised organisation is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead transformative initiatives across Asia and drive company restructuring and implement strategic group-wide projects, collaborating with diverse stakeholders across multiple countries.


The organisation is renowned for its commitment to delivering tailored savings and protection solutions through a robust network of partners, leveraging data science and advanced tools to enhance value propositions. Initial contract duration is five months, with the possibility of extension up to twelve months based on performance and business needs.

Key responsibilities:

As a Project Manager – Insurance Transformation, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational efficiency and implementing strategic projects across Asia.

  • Lead organisational restructuring initiatives for a small insurance entity to improve operational efficiency and business alignment
  • Evaluate proposed changes from customer, partner, and regulatory perspectives, ensuring compliance with local insurance regulations and consent requirements
  • Identify potential operational, regulatory, and timeline-related risks, constraints, or blockers impacting restructuring activities
  • Drive end-to-end project governance, including planning, execution, stakeholder coordination, and engagement with local representatives
  • Manage concurrent regional transformation projects, including deployment of a new project management platform, HR core system, and website portals
  • Act as the key liaison between global project leadership and local country teams to align regional execution and implementation priorities
  • Monitor project progress, coordinate cross-functional actions, and provide regular implementation status updates to global stakeholders

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you should bring extensive experience managing IT-focused projects within multinational settings.

  • Minimum 10 years of IT project management experience, preferably within global and multi-country environments
  • Fluent in both English and Chinese, with strong cross-cultural communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects involving diverse regional and international stakeholders
  • Prior experience or knowledge in insurance operations and regulatory environments is highly advantageous
  • Strong problem-solving, stakeholder management, and independent decision-making capabilities
