AVP/VP - Securities Trading System - 90k

My client is seeking a IT Business Analyst for Trading/Post-trade processing system

Responsibilities

• Conduct business analysis on trading or post-trade processing workflows to translate business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
• Lead feasibility studies for upcoming projects, define platform roadmaps, and oversee their implementation in alignment with strategic goals.
• Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, application support, and risk management to monitor and deliver technology initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regional project and risk governance frameworks.
• Coordinate with other technology teams globally and across departments to implement platforms, including requirement signoffs, testing, and deployments.
• Support both business and technical teams in project prioritization and execution.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including test case preparation, bug resolution, and coordination for final product delivery.
• Prepare comprehensive and accurate documentation related to work activities and deliverables.

Requirements

1. Education:

   • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related disciplines.

2. Experience:

   • At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Project Manager, ideally gained in international financial institutions.
   • Hands-on exposure to front-office, middle-office, or back-office processes related to trading or post-trade activities for asset classes such as equities, derivatives, fixed income, or FX.

3. Knowledge:

   • Strong understanding of trade flows and processing within major global or regional capital markets.
   • Familiarity with financial regulations and compliance frameworks in the context of trading and post-trade operations.

4. Skills:

   • Proven ability to create high-quality written specifications tailored to both business and technical audiences.
   • Strong project management skills, including scope, resource, and timeline management across functional teams.
   • Solid understanding of Agile development methodologies (preferred).

5. Communication:

   • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with proficiency in Chinese. Conversational Mandarin is required.
   • Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
