AVP, Front Office Trading Production Support (Investment Bank)

A leading global investment bank in Hong Kong seeks an Assistant Vice President, Front Office Trading Production Support, to drive seamless trading operations and optimise electronic trading platform performance across Asia.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver L1/L2 production support for front-office trading platforms across Fixed Income, FX, and Structured Products, ensuring high system availability, stability, and uninterrupted trading operations
• Partner with Sales & Trading teams across Asia to resolve production issues, optimise trade execution and straight-through processing, and provide timely incident communication during live trading
• Own end-to-end incident management by monitoring platform health, prioritising and resolving issues through ServiceNow, and coordinating with global teams, vendors, and infrastructure partners for rapid resolution
• Manage platform access, user onboarding/offboarding, entitlements, and broker connectivity, enabling secure and efficient access to trading and execution platforms
• Support platform upgrades, releases, testing, and audit readiness by coordinating change activities, maintaining operational documentation, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and governance requirements

Candidate profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5 years’ production or application support experience within financial services
• Hands-on experience supporting front-office trading platforms such as Bloomberg TOMS, ALLQ, or similar systems, with knowledge of FIX protocol and ServiceNow
• Strong understanding of Fixed Income, FX, Structured Products, trade execution workflows, user access management, and entitlement administration in a trading environment
• Proficiency in incident management, troubleshooting, SQL, and basic Python or Shell scripting, with the ability to support platform stability and operational efficiency
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills, with the ability to perform effectively under pressure while supporting compliance and audit requirements
