Application Support - Securities Firm

In this role, you will support back-office systems for investment and wealth management, while also providing assistance to applications such as the Sales Management System and internally developed software. Your responsibilities will encompass both programming and application support, allowing you to gain valuable domain knowledge in areas such as commission schemes, foreign exchange (FX), Salesforce, and reporting techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for investment and wealth management systems.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth application operations.

• Maintain and update documentation for supported applications.

• Participate in knowledge-sharing sessions and stay updated on emerging technologies.

• Perform routine system maintenance and upgrades.

• Address user inquiries and escalate complex issues when necessary.

Ideal Candidate:

• 1+ years of experience in IT support or a related field.

• Understanding of Java / C# development environments.

• Experience with Oracle or MySQL databases.

• A quick learner with the ability to adapt to new technologies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
