Our client is on the hunt for an experienced Senior Data Scientist Consultant to join their dynamic team. What you'll do:

As a Senior Data Scientist Consultant, your role will be pivotal in driving the transformation of data into actionable insights that create incremental business value. You will lead a team of data scientists, executing analytical experiments methodically to solve various problems across business units.

Your ability to establish actionable KPIs and success metrics will ensure accurate reporting. Collaborating with the IT team, you'll facilitate easy access to computing and data resources. Your knack for identifying relevant data sources will be crucial in meeting client business needs.

* Lead data scientist team members in the development of new insights, advanced modeling techniques, and data science capabilities.

* Establish actionable KPIs and success metrics ensuring timely and accurate reporting.

* Leverage data science tools and techniques in analyzing large datasets enabling the development of custom models and algorithms.

* Work closely with the IT team facilitating easy access to computing and data resources.

* Identify relevant data sources for client business needs, collecting large structured and unstructured datasets.

* Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders implementing improvements as needed to operational systems.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Senior Data Scientist Consultant role brings a wealth of experience in the field of data science. With a Master’s degree or PhD in a related quantitative field, you have spent at least 5 years honing your skills in a similar capacity. Your experience leading a data science team through the implementation of new models, tools, and techniques will be invaluable in this role.

Your ability to solve analytical issues through quantitative approaches and machine learning methods is second to none. Coupled with your excellent communication skills, you are able to convey technical messages in a clear and understandable manner.

* Master’s degree or PhD in Statistics, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics or related quantitative field.

* 5+ years of experience in a data science capacity.

* Experience leading a data science team through the implementation of new models, tools, and techniques.

* Extensive experience solving analytical issues through quantitative approaches and machine learning methods.

* Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical messages clearly.

* Experience with Deep Learning projects: NLP/computer vision, neural network.

* Coding abilities in Python or R.

* Experience working with distributed computing tools such as Hadoop.

* Experience working in a cloud environment such as AWS, Azure or GCP.

Salary range: HKD 55 to 70k/ month + bonus
