What you'll do:

As Chief Technology Officer, your role will be pivotal in shaping the technological direction of our client's organisation. You will develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with business objectives. Your leadership will guide the IT department in managing infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and support services. You will oversee the design and implementation of new IT solutions and systems while ensuring data security across all digital platforms. Collaborating with executive leadership, you will identify opportunities where technology can enhance business performance. Your responsibilities also include managing IT budgets, vendor relationships, contract negotiations as well as monitoring emerging technologies.

• Develop and execute the organisation’s IT strategy in alignment with business objectives
• Lead and manage the IT department, including infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and support services
• Oversee the design and implementation of new IT solutions and systems
• Ensure data security, compliance, and risk management across all digital platforms

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field (Master’s preferred)
• 20+ years of progressive IT leadership experience including 5+ years in a senior management role
• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution of IT initiatives
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications
• Excellent leadership, communication, project management skills
• Experience with digital transformation and cloud technologies is a must
