Head of Data Architecture - Reputed Consumer company

This role offers a competitive salary up to HKD 1.5 million per year (basic) and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic team responsible for designing and delivering Data and Digital Transformation Programmes. The successful candidate will be accountable for the data architecture and product/solution architecture of the DAS portfolio, improving product quality and user experiences with repeatable patterns that speed up deployment.

What you'll do:

As the Head of Data Architecture, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our client's data infrastructure. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of data architecture, including enterprise data models, feature stores, and product/solution architecture. Your expertise will be crucial in improving product quality through safety measures, reliability checks, cost efficiency analysis, and enhancing user experiences. You will also be tasked with maintaining the Target Architecture for Data & Analytics, ensuring it aligns with business objectives.

* Accountable for the Data Architecture and Product/Solution Architecture of the DAS portfolio.

* Improve product quality such as safety, reliability, cost efficiency and user experiences.

* Responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the enterprise target Architecture for Data & Analytics.

* Design solutions to improve new and existing systems.

* Assess, plan and execute the development of the DAS architecture team.

* Conduct regular and ad-hoc standards reviews on every architecture component for different DAS systems.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Head of Data Architecture position brings a wealth of experience in data analytics systems analysis/design and architecture development. With a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent qualification, you have spent over 12 years honing your skills in this field. Your understanding of Enterprise Architecture (EA) concepts allows you to implement them effectively within an organisation at any stage of its EA roadmap. Your superior communication skills enable you to present technical concepts clearly to all levels of management.

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Equivalent

* 12+ years of Data & Analytics systems analysis/design and architecture development experience

* Understanding of EA concepts and their implementation implications within the organisation

* Superior written and verbal communication skills

* Knowledgeable in latest technologies and business processes

* Experience in writing and executing RFI/RFP processes

* Ability to identify technical debt for existing systems and drive decommission plans

* Cantonese speaking skills are a plus
