Enterprise Data Engineer (Financial Project)

As a key member of our data team, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring data quality, and empowering business users with insightful analytics and reporting tools. Your expertise will help streamline data processes, support regulatory and financial projects, and contribute to the ongoing growth of our enterprise data capabilities.

• Handle routine and ad-hoc data requests from various business units; design and implement end-to-end data pipelines encompassing data collection, transformation (ETL), analysis, reporting, and visualization, including dashboard creation and data modeling
• Support, maintain, and enhance data platform applications utilizing technologies such as Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL, Excel VBA, and others
• Troubleshoot data issues, enforce best practices in data governance and management
• Assist business users with the daily operation and utilization of data warehouse, data lake, or lakehouse environments
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc tasks to meet evolving business needs

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, reporting, or developing data integration solutions
• Strong full-stack programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript
• Hands-on experience with data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Python, R, Excel), SQL querying, and working with data lakes and data pipelines
• Knowledge of system architecture, server infrastructure, and system integration (front-end and back-end)
• Experience in financial analysis, investment workflows, or web scraping is advantageous
• Knowledge of workflow orchestration tools like UiPath or Apache Airflow is a PLUS
• Familiarity with AI application development or agentic workflows is a PLUS
• Excellent command of spoken and written English and Chinese
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
