Key responsibilities:

As a Lead Data Engineer, you will oversee data management and analysis across sectors, ensuring high-quality, consistent, and timely financial data and KPI delivery.

• Build and strengthen team capabilities in data quality, architecture, and automation
• Stay current with technical trends to improve data sourcing and delivery efficiency
• Recruit, lead, and mentor a team of analysts and data professionals
• Enable delivery of market insights to support product and client needs
• Collaborate globally to improve workflows, processes, and data consistency
• Establish standards ensuring high-quality data delivery and client service excellence

Candidate profile:

To excel in this role, you bring strong enterprise data engineering experience, advanced SQL, Python and big data skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8–15 years’ total professional experience
• 3+ years’ leadership experience with stakeholder influence
• Strong knowledge of data management principles (modelling, quality, analysis, process engineering)
• Ability to translate complex data into clear insights and narratives
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and creative thinking skills
• Proven experience in global, matrixed environments with continuous career growth
