An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mortgage Sales Specialist to join a leading financial institution in Hong Kong on a 12-month contract.

This role offers the opportunity to build lasting customer relationships by delivering tailored mortgage and banking solutions while maintaining the highest standards of compliance and customer service.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing expert advice on mortgage and banking solutions aligned with the bank's strategic objectives and risk standards
  • Manage the end-to-end mortgage application process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and an outstanding customer experience
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to effectively position mortgage offerings and support business growth
  • Adapt proactively to changing market conditions by implementing new strategies and approaches that enhance performance and service delivery
  • Ensure full compliance with all legal, regulatory, and internal control requirements governing mortgage products and related processes

Candidate profile:

  • Proficiency in spoken Cantonese, Mandarin, and English; fluency in Mandarin is an advantage
  • At least 5 years of sales experience, preferably in mortgage lending, consumer finance, or related banking products
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., General Insurance) with commitment to ongoing Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers, referral agents, brokers, and other external stakeholders
  • Passion for sales with excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills, able to engage stakeholders at all levels
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating effectively with front-line and cross-functional teams
  • Outgoing, relationship-driven professional with strong networking skills and a proven track record of developing lasting business connections
