Key responsibilities:
As Head of Digital Wallet Product and Business Development, you will drive the strategic direction of digital payment solutions while fostering meaningful relationships across the financial ecosystem.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team driving digital wallet business development and solution delivery in a collaborative, innovation-focused environment
- Partnership Management: Build and manage strategic relationships with banks, fintechs, and technology partners; negotiate contracts to drive mutual value and growth
- Product Strategy: Define and execute the digital wallet product roadmap, collaborating cross-functionally to deliver innovative financial solutions aligned with market trends
- Operational Excellence: Oversee performance and delivery efficiency, ensuring timely execution of initiatives while implementing best practices to improve productivity
- Compliance & Risk: Ensure all digital wallet products meet regulatory, banking, and industry standards, including risk assessments and periodic audits to mitigate exposure
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you will bring extensive experience in mobile wallets or banking sectors, coupled with strong leadership skills and a passion for advancing digital finance solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Development, or related disciplines; additional qualifications in fintech are advantageous
- At least 10 years’ experience in mobile wallet or banking sectors, including at least 5 years in managerial roles overseeing multidisciplinary teams
- Proven expertise in business development activities such as partnership negotiation, merchant acquisition, or market expansion within fintech environments
- Comprehensive understanding of digital wallet technologies, payment systems architecture, security protocols, and user experience considerations
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels internally and externally
