Customer Service Officer - Supply Chain, UP to 35K
A global FMCG leader is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator to join their Hong Kong operations, offering you the chance to play a pivotal role in direct customer order and delivery execution.
Key responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will oversee the full spectrum of customer orders while ensuring seamless communication across logistics, sales, and finance teams.
- Take complete ownership of end-to-end order management for direct Hong Kong customers including order entry, confirmation, and delivery follow-up
- Coordinate closely with logistics partners and third-party providers to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries that meet customer expectations
- Monitor stock availability proactively and support replenishment as well as allocation decisions to maintain optimal inventory levels
- Act as the first point of contact for customer queries related to orders, deliveries, and invoicing, ensuring all concerns are addressed promptly
- Resolve operational issues such as shortages, delays, or damages quickly by applying pragmatic solutions that uphold service standards
- Support sales and finance teams with day-to-day coordination across customer interactions and the order-to-cash process
- Track basic service KPIs including service level, OTIF (On Time In Full), and order accuracy while flagging risks early to prevent disruptions
- Collaborate daily with internal teams in sales, logistics, and finance to foster a networked approach to problem-solving
- Maintain structured documentation of all transactions and communications for auditability and continuous improvement
- Contribute ideas for process enhancements based on your experience in supply chain operations
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you will bring a combination of practical supply chain experience, strong communication skills, and a structured mindset.
- A university degree in Economics, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
- Between 2 to 4 years’ experience in customer service, operations, logistics or order management equips you with practical expertise relevant to supply chain coordination
- Experience working within FMCG or a fast-paced supply chain environment is highly desirable
- Comfortable using ERP systems such as SAP along with proficiency in Excel enables efficient handling of data-driven tasks
- Meticulous attention to detail when managing orders or monitoring stock levels
- Service-mindedness allows you to respond empathetically to customer queries while maintaining high standards of satisfaction
- Fluency in English and Cantonese is required for effective communication with local customers and partners
- Confident communication skills empower you to take ownership of tasks while following through on commitments made to stakeholders
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams fosters a supportive networked environment
- Proactive risk identification skills enable early flagging of potential disruptions in service delivery
