Assistant Director of Supply Chain (Jewellery & Accessory)
A leading regional organisation seeks an Assistant Director of Supply Chain Management to lead end-to-end operations across China, Hong Kong, and Thailand, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities:
As Assistant Director, you will oversee end-to-end supply chain operations—from planning, procurement, and vendor development to production, packaging, and logistics—driving efficiency and operational excellence.
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives and market demands
- Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations including order processing, production planning, purchasing, warehousing, and inventory control
- Drive process optimisation and cost efficiency through analytics and continuous improvement initiatives
- Source new vendors, technologies, and materials to enhance product and service competitiveness
- Manage regional procurement and purchasing operations to deliver cost-effective solutions
- Optimise logistics and distribution operations while ensuring compliance with legal and industry standards
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support business growth, maintain service standards, and resolve supply chain issues
Candidate profile:
To excel in this role, you bring regional supply chain leadership experience, operational excellence, and strong stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related discipline
- Minimum 10 years’ supply chain and/or operations management experience
- Proven track record in developing and implementing regional or global supply chain frameworks
- Professional certification in supply chain management (e.g. CSCP, CPSM) is preferred
- Prior experience in the jewellery industry is highly preferred
- Strong leadership experience with the ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive business objectives

- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Solid expertise in supply chain operations, processes, and performance management metrics
- Effective communication skills in English and Chinese and/or Thai
