Operations Manager - Logistic
This role offers you the chance to play a pivotal part in ensuring seamless daily operations, driving process improvements, and fostering strong relationships with key accounts and vendors. What you'll do:
- Supervise daily logistics activities across all core stages of the supply chain, ensuring efficient workflows and strict adherence to service level agreements with key accounts.
- Promptly address operational challenges arising from both local and overseas hubs, minimising disruptions and maintaining high standards of service delivery.
- Provide proactive recommendations for process enhancements, consistently striving for operational excellence throughout the organisation.
- Represent the company in regular review meetings with customers, nurturing strong relationships based on quality service and sustainable operations.
- Maintain robust communication channels with key accounts and vendors to ensure alignment on expectations and ongoing satisfaction.
- Utilise data analytics to inform decision-making processes, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and supply chain effectiveness.
- Monitor financial performance by managing data exchanges related to billing, service penalties, and other key metrics critical to business success.
- Assist with the preparation of billing reports and support project implementation initiatives for major accounts, ensuring smooth execution from start to finish.
- Facilitate the seamless integration of new projects into existing operations by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Demonstrate professionalism by taking on additional responsibilities as needed and maintaining a positive attitude under pressure.
What you bring:
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Analytics or a related discipline is required for this position.
- You have 5-8 years of relevant experience in operations management within e-commerce logistics or similar sectors, demonstrating a proven track record across all core stages of the supply chain.
- Your knowledge encompasses e-commerce logistics processes as well as freight forwarding and courier business practices.
- You possess excellent numerical abilities alongside advanced analytical skills that allow you to interpret complex data sets for informed decision-making.
- Outstanding communication skills are complemented by strong interpersonal abilities that enable you to build rapport with clients, vendors, and colleagues alike.
- Fluency in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese is essential for effective collaboration across diverse teams and international partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications—including Word, Excel, PowerPoint—and familiarity with PowerBI are necessary for reporting and analysis tasks.
- You are adept at multitasking in fast-moving environments while meeting deadlines without compromising attention to detail or quality standards.
- The ability to work independently under pressure is matched by your willingness to take initiative when additional responsibilities arise.
