Business Development Manager - Aviation Logistic

This role offers you the chance to make a significant impact by identifying new market opportunities, nurturing long-term customer relationships, and driving business success through collaborative efforts.

What you'll do:

  • Support the Sales & Marketing Division by reporting directly to senior management and providing valuable insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Identify emerging market trends and construct compelling business proposals aimed at securing new deals, contracts, and fostering enduring customer loyalty.
  • Deliver exceptional sales, account management, and customer service support to maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Organise and lead regular meetings, client visits, and terminal tours to strengthen partnerships and achieve key business objectives.
  • Oversee commercial contracts, manage tenders, and conduct negotiations to ensure financial targets are consistently met.
  • Perform detailed financial feasibility studies and analyses to assess the profitability of various business projects or cases.
  • Develop tailored sales and marketing strategies, create engaging presentations, and prepare proposals that address specific customer needs.
  • Initiate new product or service offerings designed to drive business growth in line with market demands.
  • Plan and execute promotional activities aimed at increasing brand awareness among target audiences.
  • Manage projects from initial concept through to successful execution by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to gather intelligence on competitors, industry trends, opportunities, and potential threats.
  • Monitor annual budgets and prepare business reports to track performance against established benchmarks.
  • Foster close cooperation with internal stakeholders as well as external partners from diverse cultural backgrounds within the industry community.
  • Be prepared to travel domestically or internationally for conferences or meetings as required.

What you bring:

  • A degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Management, Communications, Logistics or Aviation-related disciplines provides a solid foundation for this role.
  • At least three years of relevant experience in business development, management, sales development, account management, marketing or similar fields is highly desirable; candidates with less experience but strong potential may also be considered.
  • A genuine passion for sales combined with a results-oriented mindset ensures you can deliver on ambitious targets while maintaining excellent customer relations.
  • Demonstrated business acumen along with strong numerical skills enables you to perform insightful analyses that inform strategic decisions.
  • Outstanding presentation abilities paired with effective communication skills allow you to engage confidently with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Fluency in spoken and written Chinese, English and Mandarin
  • Excellent planning skills coupled with meticulous attention to detail help you manage multiple projects efficiently without compromising quality.
  • A positive attitude marked by energy and creativity empowers you to find solutions even in challenging situations while inspiring those around you.
  • A conscientious approach characterised by motivation, willingness to learn new things quickly, adaptability in changing environments, high self-discipline and ethical standards sets you apart as a dependable team member.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) along with Chinese word processing supports your ability to produce high-quality documentation.
